I would like to express my disgust at your article 'A Sick Man' (Michael Jackson) Metro Weds 16th Feb 2005.
It would seem that once again you choose to put a manipulative and negative spin on all reports concerning this man. THIS IS IRRESPONSIBLE JOURNALISM, journalists are supposed to report the facts and ethically treat all those accused with a presumption of innocence until proven guilty in a court of law. Michael Jackson hasn't had this chance yet.
Regardless of its surface-level 'association' with his flu, your 'headline' is clearly a transparent connotation of your own personal feelings on the accusations Jackson faces.
I did NOT see as much contempt for the likes of 'hero' Pete Townsend and he was CAUGHT in possession of Child Pornography (wonder why??!..)
Let Jackson have his day in court and quit with the blatant bias. You and the rest of the media are NOT Judge and jury.
I expected better from Metro.
