You could say the same thing about anyone - we have to take their word for it, just as we HAD TO TAKE THE WORD of Pete Townsend when he said he 'purchased' child pornography as research for his book. Michael Jackson uses makeup (not lighting cream) to even out the patches - did you really expect a star of his magnitude to walk around looking blotchy. Infact foundation based makeup and creams are used by many vitiligo suffered to even out their skin in an effort to appear 'normal'.
If you are so sure that Michael used some magical cream to transform his entire body porcelain white then please let me know what this method is as I didn’t think such a method actually existed. I suggest you read here: http://www.mjfanclub.net/history/vitiligo.html

Your cartoon had NOTHING to do with Pampering and everything to do with a cheap shot at Michael Jackson's 'lighter' skin - quite frankly, ITS NOT FUNNY. What next, a cartoon with Freddie Mercury joking about "poofs catching AIDS" ... I didn’t think so.

It hasn't been proved that Michael Jackson has Vitiligo- like so many things about him we just have his word for it. One theory is that if he has Vitiligo he has lightened all his skin to cover up the patches which normally appear- in which case I assume he would be happy about still being pale. It's a cartoon about the pampered Michael Jackson and not about Vitiligo.
