So "Tupac's" Ghetto Gospel, with none-other than Homo Elton John, thanks to cultural rapist, Eminem - is number one of the UK charts...
DISGUSTING
Tupac may have been dead since 1996 but now his LEGACY has well and truly been buried with with COMPLETE misrepresentation of what he stood for.
Thank you very much Afeni Shakur and Marshall Mathers for destroying a BLACK legend.

Batman Begins - My 2¢ worth...

Caught a preview screening of Batman Begins last night.
After Joel Schumacher's last pair of turkeys (namely 'Batman Forever' and 'Batman & Robin' - ugh!) I thought the franchise was irredeemable - after all, does the World REALLY need another Batman movie??!! I went into the cinema expecting nothing and I came out getting a fix of EVERYTHING!
Batman Begins delivers, full-stop. In terms of bringing the comic book character of Bruce Wayne/Batman to the big screen, it was perfect. Unlike Schumacher's incarnations, it didn’t shy away from the notion that Bruce Wayne is motivated by psychological scarring and that Batman flirts upon the edge of the psychotic. Batman's actions and very existence is motivated by vengefulness intolerance (of the flawed, of the corrupt) and obsession - he is NOT a 'truth and justice for all' superhero like his DC peer, Superman.
As the film's title suggests, this is a prequel. This movie is about the trauma Bruce Wayne faced as a child, losing loving parents to a criminal in a mugging and the events that follow that bring him to the decision to take on the persona of the Dark Knight in an effort to avenge his Parents' death through fighting crime and corruption in a socially-disintegrating Gotham City.
The film almost seems split in two, the first half moving very slowly, citing Wayne's fleeing from Gotham, his insidious curiosity of the Criminal Underworld, and his physical combat training.
The second half of the film moves at a far more frantic pace
Wayne returns to Gotham, adds the finishing touches to his Batman persona and makes his crime fighting debut foiling the corrupt Falcone and his Maniacal Puppetmaster, Physiologist, Dr Crane - who turns out to be 'Hallucinogenic-Nemesis', Scarecrow. Scarecrow, I initially thought, was too weak a villain to introduce a new Batman franchise. However, I was WRONG. Scarecrow was executed extremely well visually and did indeed prove menacing.
This half of the film also entertains with dizzying action/fight scenes and a thrilling 'O.J' style car chase with Batman in his prototype Batmobile (at this point looking like a tank) fleeing a convoy of police vehicles to head to his 'Bat-cave'.
One of the first things that stands out about director Christopher Nolan's 'Batman Begins' is its stellar cast. Quite surprising considering this is simply a 'Super-Hero' movie.
Christian Bale made a believable Bruce Wayne, but looked slightly odd as Batman in the costume - perhaps even being a bit too angry at times, as while the Dark Knight is certainly motivated by anger (and guilt), he isn't usually so emotive.
Liam Neeson was brilliant (As usual) as Ducard. A very believable Villain (if you can call him that) who is not part of your usual 2D/Black & White personification-of-evil variety. And Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman gave us very natural, likeable performances of the characters Alfred and Lucius Fox respectively. Heck!, even Katie Holmes was tolerable in this film - actually appearing quite attractive at times!
However, praise aside - the film did have a few shortfalls.
Few of the things that irritated me included how it succumbed to Hollywood clichés at times with a tacked-on love element/kiss at the end of the film, and dodgy one-liners to appease a mainstream audience, which felt out of place (Michael Caine im looking at you!). And lets not forget the typical Hollywood prerequisite for any franchise flick - set it up for sequel! And Batman Begins does this shamelessly at the end with an off-screen villain leaving his calling card - that is a playing card of a Joker, hmmmmm….
All-in-all, this Batman is certainly better than any of Schumacher's efforts; but is it the DEFINITIVE Bat-flick?
In my opinion, its pretty damn close to perfection, but no cigar.
I have a very biased affection for Tim Burton's 1989 'Batman' and its sequel 'Batman Forever', as do I have an affection for Michael Keaton playing the part of Bruce Wayne.
Burton's vision of Gotham had the perfect blend of sophistication and macabre (where Schumacher's was just plain flamboyant) and was better than Nolan's which just stood as bland and industrial.
Burton's Gotham streets were populated with Citizens affected by crime; Nolan's was empty, often deserted with a few hobos/junkies thrown-in for measure.
Burton mixed comic fantasy, reality and psychology flawlessly without becoming camp. Nolan probably can be accused of taking the whole thing too damn seriously.
Still Batman Begins was a great flick, one for the DVD collection and without a doubt one to catch this summer!

Another Verdict - Sky+
Another verdict has been reached today and that too has swung in my favour. Tower/Bellway homes have formally given me permission to install an independant Minidish to recieve Sky+! - Provided it is descrete and the neighbours don't complain, that is.
My installation date is set for Monday... WOOT!
My installation date is set for Monday... WOOT!
On a side note I wonder who will be the next black star in court seeing as its an annual event in the USA. With people like Tyson, OJ Simpson, Kobe Bryant, R Kelly and Michael Jackson all hunted, I wonder who is next.
My money is on 50 Cent followed by Eddie Murphy.
I do hope someone like Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise go up for rape or something, it would be interesting to see how people react and if it would be with such venom.

The Sweet smell of JUSTICE!

Today is a wonderful and glorious day because Justice has been served!! Michael Joseph Jackson has been proven innocent on all those ridiculous counts of Child molestation and conspiracy of abduction.
Many MJ fans and Black intellectuals kept the faith, standing by a man who was railroaded and conned while being subjected to some of the most disgusting and blatantly racist examples of media bias and defamation.
When the jury announced their decision on each individual count, one-by-one, I was shaking with nerves. Bottle of Red Wine by my side as I waited for what seemed an excoriating eternity.
By the time MJ was cleared of the 'intoxication of a minor' charges, I knew vindication was complete. I queued up 'Don’t Stop till You Get Enough' 'Beat It' 'Billie Jean' and 'You Rock my World' on my sound system, opened the windows and BLASTED the music for the world to hear my, 'I told you so'! This was a celebration of justice; this was a celebration of Michael Jackson's good name and freedom.
Although I was celebrating, I knew that not everyone would share the same enthusiasm. There are some people, namely Caucasian racists (The type who put DECENT White folk to shame), who wanted Michael Jackson to be jailed at all costs. They hide behind a façade, a faux crusade against child molestation, pertaining to campaign for the rights of all child victims. However the double standards are there for everyone to see when these same people stay silent when the likes of Pete Townsend actually GET CAUGHT with child pornography. In Townsend's case, they provided every excuse under the sun to defend him. Yet Jackson is dragged through the courts, facing accusation after accusation with no evidence to back up such claims and even huge contradictions In the testimonies of the accuser. These people presumed Jackson with guilt even before the trial, and even afterwards they presume the same guilt. The difference lies in the fact that Townsend is a White Rock Hero while Jackson is simply a "Nigger" who pushed it too far.
Caucasian racists the world over wanted Jackson convicted, not because he was allegedly a 'child molester, but because they wanted to make an example of him (in front of the World!) for the following reasons:
For Being a Black idol that transcends the boundaries of race in terms of inspiration, admiration and fandom.
For being a POSITIVE Black role model (a Humanitarian and not a Pimp-My-Ride gangsta such as the likes of 50 Cent etc..)
For buying the Sony ATV catalogue and OWNING the rights to the Beatles' songs as well as some of Elvis Presley's material.
For being the world's best selling recording artist with the best selling worldwide album of all time (Thriller).
For owning such a proud and extravagant estate (Neverland) that puts Graceland to shame.
For being a "Nigger" who married and slept with Elvis Presley's daughter (Lisa Marie)
For exposing the racism of the music industry - i.e. Sony and Tommy Motolla.
To get 'revenge' for OJ.
So was it any surprise that while playing my celebration music, a disgruntled neighbour buzzes my door demanding that the music be turned off, as he had to go to work tomorrow (don’t we all??!) . I tried to reason, explaining that this was a one off, a celebration to which his bitterness oozed out in exclaiming not to "give a shit about Michael Jackson".
Friends I guarantee you if the verdict was to the contrary, it would be HIM playing the celebratory music and not me.
Although I was in jubilation, I was disturbed by the obvious bias in the media. They so badly wanted MJ to be convicted. I can remember the nonsense Sky News suggested when MJs convoy were delayed in leaving for the courthouse; they suggested MJ could/would flee the State, the Country - as If he had something to hide. They were doubting his confidence, doubting the fans (who they even said were reduced in numbers!) and consciously building the viewer up for a conviction.
The look of disappoint in the faces of the media pundits once the not-guilty verdicts were read was PRICELESS!
However Sky continued with their negativity, telling us how:
Jackson's career is unlikely to recover, his image tarnished beyond repair
How he had only been 'cleared' of the current charges (insinuating that MJ is indeed a paedophile who was cleared only due to a flawed prosecution case)
How legal analysts and the public are amazed MJ escaped conviction on any of the ten counts against him!
Not only that, the ONLY talking head Sky News provided coverage of was from clearly biased commentator Steve Corbett, who those in the know, know is in Tom Sneddon's pocket.
Corbett was bitter and wound-up to the point of embarrassment. He ranted how the jury's decision has taught us a lesson about the power of celebrity - ludicrously suggesting that an extremely mixed and well balanced jury of 12 peers who took over 8 days to carefully examine the evidence of the case, were blinded by Jackson's fame and were incompetent. HOW PATRONISING.
Corbett also ranted about how Jackson was "free to do whatever he wants to, like he always has done his whole life"
I could see this developing into an O.J Simpson 'he got away with it' type situation, and the morning's newspaper headlines seemed to confirm that fear.
Its quite interesting that although Michael Jackson has made pretty much all of the front pages, never do these institutionally racist newspapers refer to him as being proven INNOCENT. They all deliberately avoid the I-word and simply refer to him as being "cleared" or "getting off".
Again the tabloid scum returns to the subject of Jackson's alleged "flagging career" (even though he still sells more than 'their' heroes Madonna and Justin Timberlake), the Metro even had the cheek to do a career timeline to show an alleged decline in sales, calling Blood on the Dancefloor a flop, even though it still is to date the best selling remix album of all time. Calling invincible a flop selling 2 million copies, when in reality its more like 13 million and even MISSING the entire 'Dangerous' era from this timeline, Dangerous notably being the best selling album of the 1990s!
The tabloids also return to the false and tired report that MJ is in huge debt, has huge (unpayable) legal fees, only has $38,000 in the bank! (laughable) and will have to sell the Beatles catalogue. - We always return to the Beatles catalogue with these people. The cultural/racial implications of Jackson, a Black Man, owning this are HUGE, yet the issue of him being forced to sell-up is perhaps more to do with (racist) Caucasian wishful thinking.
So Michael Jackson is a free man. But while he avoids jail, he cannot avoid the cloud of racism that hangs over his head, tracking his every move. There is a racist ideology at work to destroy him and it will not stop. Unfortunately dominant mainstream media is White controlled.
Michael Jackson will continue to be persecuted for his achievements and accomplishments and the fact that he, his wealth, his stardom, his fanbase and his legacy is not under White Control and is completely self made (this was once a poor boy who grew up in a Shack in Gary, Indiana - remember??!).
We proud Black people as well as the civil rights groups and activists who represent us (such as Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton who have already made statements of support) should UNITE and ensure that this type of railroading does NOT happen to a powerful Black icon ever again.
The media owe Michael Jackson an apology and I hope a string of 'defamation of character' are to suits follow, now that this nightmare has come to an end.
We'll support you all the way, MJ!

SONY SUCKS -The UMD debacle continues..
Further to my Sony PSP UMD Disc debacle, I contacted Sony Computer Entertainment America last night to see where I stood in regard to obtaining an exchange.
To be honest the guy was helpful, although he lied, saying that no one at Sony had heard of that UMD problem before (a quick google search provides proof to the contrary. Everything was cool until I told him that I was calling from London England. "We only ship exchanged products within the US" he said. Sure, that was no problem, I could have it shipped to my Aunt in Van Nuys CA. The guy then put me on hold, mumbled in the background to his manager and returned to tell me that it was Sony policy to void all warrenties if the PSP is taken out of the country.
I can see why Nintendo fanboys constantly chant "SONY SUCKS!"
WHAT A RIDICULOUS POLICY! Sony design a HANDHELD gaming machine and they don't expect people to take it with them on their travels!!!
Anyway, failing to make any progress with Sony, I said my goodbyes and contacted the individual publishers of the faulty games, Namco and Ubisoft.
They were more helpful and provided me with a RMA number to send them back with proof of purchase for an exchange that will be shipped to my Aunt.
Bad thing is, the whole process will cost me in terms of shipping and will take a few weeks for the games to get to my Aunt and then back to me in the UK. Oh well, better than shelling out $80 again.
I do feel sorry for Namco and Ubisoft though. Its not their fault Sony designed a ridiculously flawed and flimsy proprietary media format.
I can’t believe that its been little over a month and these games are broken already. My old Nintendo Gameboy games from 1989 still bloody work for goodness sake!

I ordered a Region 1 copy of Wong Kai Wai's Chungking Express as my older DVD version wasn’t in anamorphic widescreen (which annoys me something chronic).
The region 1 copy is the definitive version. The picture is cleaner; it is uncut, has extra features, is in true anamorphic widescreen for 16:9 televisions and is even in 5.1 sound.
So was I 'thrilled' when the DVD arrived in my letterbox this morning?
NO.
Why? - Look below...

Quentin Tarantino has plastered his face and name all over the cover of the DVD, although the official reason he places his name on the promotional material for the movie is because he 'presents it'. Tarantino owns a company called Rolling Thunder which sole purpose is to bring foreign films to a new audience.
The packaging is ridiculous to the point of being hilarious self-promotion. Wong Kar-Wai's name isn't on the spine, but Tarantino's name is almost as large as the title. On the front, his name is much larger than the title, not to mention his face being as large as the actors on the cover, and Wong Kar-Wai's name is in 12pt font.
The goofiest part is the blurb on the back. "Another Must-See Cinema Favourite From Maverick Filmmaker and Pulp Fiction Creator Quentin Tarantino..." (which, aside from the blatant self-aggrandizing, makes it sound as if he made the film), then to top it off, a bizarre and inarticulate one-liner, from Tarantino himself, "I'm Happy to Love a Movie This Much!"
It is deceiving people into thinking they are getting a film that is somehow connected to Quentin Tarantino other than just presenting the piece of work. Yes it might help it be seen by more people but it's still self-promotion. This is a great movie and should be promoted or seen in it's own right.

Sky+ Woes: UPDATE!
I contacted Tower/Bellway homes again, and the manager of Residential services sounds completely fed up with me. I have worn him down to agreeing in principal for us to have our own individual Sky dish (which would allow us to receive Sky+) so long as no complaints from our neighbours are received.
I explained to him that where Sky are likely to place it faces a fence, and that no neighbours are likely to see it, let alone complain about it.
The manager wants me to take photos today and email them to him with an accompanying letter.
Hopefully this can be taken as a positive step in the right direction. And for now, I will not circulate the petitions to the other residents.

Sky+ Woes

I have decided to 'sell my soul' in subscribing to Sky Digital.
At the moment I have a Freeview setup with a 40gig hdd PVR.
One of the conditions of me moving to Sky is to opt for Sky+, I simply CANNOT revert to a PVR-less experience. Those key features of rewinding/pausing/recording live broadcasts on-the-fly have revolutionised our Television viewing experience, and we simply cannot do without them.
So you can imagine my dismay when I discover that our flat is NOT equip to receive Sky+.
Reason is because we have to receive Sky Digital via a communal satellite, as we are not allowed individual satellite installations due to the terms and conditions of the area.
Sky+ requires two feeds/ports to connect to the box in order to use its dual-recording features. Our flat only has a single feed/port meaning we can get Sky, only no Sky+.
Let me add that my property is meant to be a £175,000+ dwelling with all the mod-cons, yet due to short-sighted construction, we are stuck with 20th century technology and not the 21st century benefits of a dual-recording digital PVR. Let me also add that when the communal dish was erected in 2004, Sky+ was an already existing technology.
There is unfortunately no way around this, as Tower/Bellway homes (whom I promptly contacted) so abruptly told me. Apparently we are to be grateful to receive Sky Digital at all and "TV is a privilege, not a necessity" - THEIR words, not mine.
I told the housing people that I would form a petition that the local residents will sign to 'encourage' them to at least replace the communal satellite setup with an installation that is technologically 'in-date'.
I will distribute the petitions tonight, and await the feedback before I take this case further.

SHODDY PSP DESIGN: Plastic presses-in on my flimsy UMD making PSP unable to read/load game!!

Following a week of frantic gaming (namely Metal Gear Ac!d and Ridge Racers) on my PSP, I have noticed a rather shocking design flaw.
This became noticeable when I inserted my Luminies UMD and the damn PSP could not load it, could not read it and just hung on the 'home' screen frozen.
I tried again and again, even blowing air and gently wiping the exposed part of the disc - but to no avail.
I then discovered that the transparent plastic window that displays the front of the UMD disc was pressed-in, not only that, but it was now loose (a fresh UMD's plastic cannot protrude). I Had to pop the plastic forward via the back of the UMD (With my finger) to even it out again. I put the UMD into the PSP and (Halleluiah!) the game worked once again.
However whenever I put the UMD back into my carry case and take it out again, I find the plastic has pressed in once more. So I have to constantly fiddle with the plastic on the UMD before a gaming session just to get the bloody thing to work, as if the plastic window is at all pressed-in then it makes the disk unable to spin freely inside the PSP.
THIS SHODDY DESIGN IS SIMPLY UNACCEPTABLE SONY!
What's worse is that my Ridge Racers UMD is starting to do the same thing, and im sure (over time) Metal Gear will follow. And yes, I have ALWAYS held the UMD by its edges or top area of plastic.
Between this and the 'Square Button' debacle, Sony's inexperience within the handheld gaming market is really beginning to show. I am disgusted with this flaw simply because games, particularly handheld games should be sturdy and durable. When you are on a long-haul trip, the last thing you want your portable entertainment to be is fragile.
YOU NEED TO REDESIGN THE UMD PRONTO SONY, WHY NOT MAKE IT ONE SOLID PIECE OF PLASTIC WITH THE DECAL ON THE OUTSIDE - THEN NONE OF US WILL HAVE ANY UNUSABLE / UNRELIABLE UMDS…. OR IS THAT THE IDEA??!!

Mesereau: Jackson must be acquitted
Attorneys on both sides of the Michael Jackson trial took their gloves off during blistering closing arguments Thursday.
In his nearly three hour presentation to the jury, prosecutor Ron Zonen spent much time attacking Jackson’s attorneys for not delivering on promises made in their opening remarks. He focused on the conspiracy charges, only mentioning the alleged molestation two hours into his argument.
Zonen painted Jackson as a child predator with a drinking problem who seduced children with pornography and then lured them into his bedroom.
Lead defense attorney Thomas Mesereau spared none in a fiery closing argument which is due to be completed Friday. Mesereau referred to the accuser’s family as "con artists, actors and liars" who have in the past fraudulently sought money on many occasions. He said the Arvizo’s would benefit financially if Jackson was found guilty.
The defense attorney cried foul at prosecutor’s attempts to dehumanise Jackson, describing it as a desperate last resort.
"They have dirtied him up because he's human. But they haven't proven their case because they can't," said Mesereau.
Suspect timeline
Using charts, the lawyer pointed out the absurdity of the timeline presented by the prosecution. It is alleged that Jackson molested the accuser at the height of public scrutiny and other investigations following the airing of Martin Bashir’s documentary, “Living with Michael Jackson”.
Mesereau responded to Zonen’s attacks on him and other Jackson attorneys, saying that "whenever a prosecutor does that you know they're in trouble. This is not a popularity contest between lawyers”.
He said prosecutors had engaged in a "nasty attempt, a barbaric attempt" to attack Jackson personally by bringing up his financial problems, collection of adult magazines and "sagging music career".
Zonen used a large screen to present images of adult materials found at Jackson’s Neverland ranch.
“Are you confident with a middle-aged man getting in bed with a 13-year-old boy as he possesses material like this that excites him?" he questioned.
Mesereau countered, saying "Yes. He [Jackson] is a human being. They found a lot of girlie magazines. Did he want the world to know that? No."
Zonen told jurors that although the accuser and his siblings enjoyed themselves at Neverland during the day, "at night, they entered into Michael Jackson's bedroom, which is a veritable fortress. They entered into the world of the forbidden (where) they learned about human sexuality with someone who was only too willing to be their teacher."
Alleged prior victims
"Michael Jackson molested (his accuser) and many other boys," he continued. He said Jackson, who is also accused of plying his accuser with alcohol, "has a drinking problem. There is no other explanation for it."
Mesereau reminded the jury that the molestation case against Jackson involved only one alleged victim.
"They (the prosecution) brought in alleged victims from the '90s because they are desperate," he said. The defense had earlier elicited testimony from three of these alleged victims who all testified that Jackson had never molested them, contradicting prosecution witnesses.
Mesereau told the jury that "the issue in this case is the life, future, freedom and reputation of Michael Jackson". He went on to say "there is no way in the world you can find the (accuser and his family) are trustworthy beyond a reasonable doubt … Mr. Jackson must be acquitted under our legal system."
Zonen admits welfare wraud
Zonen was defensive in talking about the boy’s mother, Janet Arvizo, one of the most erratic witnesses in the trial.
"[Janet Arvizo] never asked for one penny from Michael Jackson,” he said, "she never desired anything from him and she doesn't today."
"The suggestion that all of this was planned and plotted, that it was a shakedown was nonsense," he continued, "it is unmitigated rubbish."
Zonen conceded that Arvizo had committed welfare fraud only ten days before receiving a large settlement from retailer J.C Penney. “It was a bad mistake on her part, and she may well have to deal with the consequences," he told the 12 jurors.
Mesereau pointed out that the accuser was unemotional as he described the alleged molestation in both the video and in testimony.
"You saw no emotion whatsoever. When did you see him really get angry? When he talked about Michael Jackson abandoning his family," said Mesereau.
Closing arguments are expected to continue today prior to the case being handed to jurors for deliberation.

I must admit, the idea of a turn-based playing card strategy game sounded a bit Yu-Gi-Oh! and turned me off somewhat. However at $30 (£17), I was willing to take the chance.
I'm talking about the latest title i've bought for my PSP, Metal Gear Acid.
I simply cannot believe how addictive this game is. Within two days (during a typically busy working week) i've managed to put in FOUR hours of gameplay!!
The game is tricky to pick up at first, (and even now im not exactly sure of what all of the functions of the card playing system are) but something about it just...WORKS! It grabs hold of you, and once you pick up the basics of the game mechanics (which doesnt take that long at all) it's too late... YOU'RE HOOKED!!
Between this, Luminees and Ridge Racers, i've havent spent so much of my time gaming for several years! (not quite sure if that's a good thing).
So i'll hold my hands up and finally admit it - the PSP was bloody good purchase!

Anyone noticed that the iPod Shuffle is the first and only digital music player ever released to NOT have a "Repeat Song" feature? Prety suspicious, huh? I bet the clever engineers at Apple are already hard at work with their *next* player... the iPod Repeat! Simple intuitive interface! Listen to your favorite song over and over again-- WITH NO USER INTERVENTION REQUIRED! (oh and complete with WHITE earphones.. can't forget the earphones!!!)

I hope at least some of you realise that dominant (predominantly White) media forces are controlling what is being reported on the Michael Jackson case and manipulating it to suit their own (Racist) ideology.
Did you know that the DA Tom Sneddon called Chris Tucker (A Good friend of Michael Jackson who was called on the stand by the defence) a "Boy" when he was being cross examined last week?
Tucker was shown a photo of himself and Michael Jackson and said he'd like a copy. Tom Sneddon replied 'That depends on whether you're a good boy or not." This comment has strong racist undertones which hopefully did NOT go unnoticed in the courtroom.
But where is that being reported by the White media? - You should have seen chris' face.
And this is the type of outrage that White America should prepare itself to face should they succeed in setting-up Michael Jackson for jail.
One evening newspaper headline today read "Jackson told: Prepare for Jail!"- well I say, 'White America: Prepare for a RIOT!' - Because I'll tell you one thing, African Americans will NOT take this lying down.
America's contemporary problems continue to exist because many whites like Sneddon can't and wont stand for a Black man who is more successful and influential than they themselves are. This IS a modern-day lynching, as Jermaine Jackson correctly stated. manufactured evidence is not a funny thing. when witnesses continue to lie and fraud the court, how can a case be allowed to carry on? obviously some really powerful players are behind all of this, as I have hinted at earlier.
This case is a sham which also serves as revenge for the all Black jury who aquitted O.J Simpson. So now, they want to teach us Blacks a lesson using the biggest Star in world (let alone biggest Black Star). This is railroading similar to the 1960's. The media is no better than the KKK.

How a reduction in the charges increases the chances of them jailing Michael Jackson - And why we CANNOT let it happen without a fight!!
There I was, strolling through Buckingham Palace road to grab a quick coffee from Starbucks when to my HORROR I saw an Evening Standard headline gleefully proclaiming that '[Michael] Jackson faces jail!'
My first thought were, WTF??! - Both the defence and the prosecution have yet to even begin any form of closing statements, so the idea of any premature verdict is unfathomable.
A quick read revealed that the Standard was indeed referring to Judge Rodney Melville's DISGUSTING decision to reduce Jackson's alcohol charge.
So why is a reduction in the charge disgusting you say? Well because it is a blatantly transparent tactical move to benefit the prosecution and the prosecution alone who up until this point were reeling with humiliation at their 'lack of a case'.
Michael Jackson was originally charged with supplying alcohol to a minor with the intension to molest. DA Tom Sneddon and his prosecution team could not prove any of this in court. They could not prove that Michael Jackson abused or molestered anyone or that he actually had the intension to (grooming). So what does Melville do? He slips Sneddon an Ace. Everyone knows Sneddon's vendetta against Jackson goes back over a decade and is somewhat racially motivated (he was heard at a dinner party promising to run that "Nigger" out of his town), he has violated Jackson's home many times and has issued these ridiculous and unproven molestation charges (setting bail at a higher rate than that for a MURDERER!) by exploiting a grifter family out for cash and out for fame. Sneddon wants Jackson in jail bad - he doesn’t care If its for one year or ten years, he just wants to get one up on Jackson and have his reputation ruined beyond repair. Sneddon shares the same ideology as the White media (at large) and Sony Music - all parties furious at the power and influence Jackson, a "Nigger", has over the music industry (See Beatles and ATV catalogue ownership and Jackson's career achievements).
Sneddon knows he CANNOT prove Jackson had the intent to molest, but he can do him on a general misdemeanour charge of allowing a minor to drink within his property - even though Sneddon knows as I do that these damn kids accusing Michael raided his wine cellar and WILFULLY drank behind his back.
The jury now only has to accept that the star gave Gavin Arvizo alcohol, which the trial has heard Jackson call "Jesus juice", to find him guilty.
The new charge, a misdemeanour rather than a felony, carries a sentence of up to 12 months in Santa Barbara county jail.
This is simply OUTRAGEOUS and is a wake-up call to all those Black people out there in a position or aspiring for a position of significance, power and influence (Within ANY industry). "They" will stop at nothing to lynch you for your advancement, for your achievements - they will make your life hell and they will damn sure make sure they get you in the end.
We Black people need to OPEN OUR EYES at what is going on with Michael Jackson. The racism behind his case is no longer illusive, it is now ALL TOO CLEAR.
We need to stand by Michael for this injustice and not let them jail him without a fight or at least some form or protestation - because if we stay silent and allow it to happen to Michael Jackson, it will happen to Michael Jordan next or Oprah Winfrey or Spike Lee or even YOU.
