2Pac - Loyal to the Game

Well, today saw the release of the late tupac Shakur's latest posthumous album, Loyal to the Game.
Anyone who knows me will know I am a massive 2pac fan - I had crazy respect for the man and what he stood for (Highlighting the REAL social/political issues that affected the Black community while promoting Upliftment).
However this will be the first 2pac album that I WONT purchase. Why do you ask? Because Afeni Shakur (Tupac's mother who manages his estate) has decided to alienate Pac's core audience and bring in Eminem to executive produce the album in an effort to dilute Pac's words in order to target a slim shady audience of 10-14 year old white suburban MTV TRL viewers.
Okay so some might like Eminem's beats on the album, but me, I find them sterile and repetitive . Not only do they sound wack, but Em had the cheek to slow down Pac's vocals to meet his lousy beats - piss poor production if you ask me.

Em has brought on the Shady Aftermath crew on this LP - they feature so prominantly that one might wonder whether this be a shady production featuring 2pac rather than the other way round.
On the record are the likes of 50 Cent, Obie Trice and the rest of G Unit - with their usual Coonish antics that set the black race back another 30 years each time they open their dumb mouths. The nonsense that these "artists" promotes has no place on a tupac record. They dont stand for what Pac stood for and they certainly would not be "down with Pac" if Pac was alive.

Eminem has abused his position on this album as exec producer to shamelessly promote his label's roster. Eminem should NOT have produced this album, someone who knew and understood Pac should have.
Would the man who wrote uplifting tracks for Black women such as 'Keep Your Head Up' and 'Brenda's Got A Baby' really want his work produced by a white man who on several early recordings called Black Women "Nigger Bitches"??!

If that wasnt insult enough, Eminem (though the wonders of digital editing) has digitally manipulated Pacs voice to say things that he would never have said!
On this album we get to hear Pac say "G Unit in the Motherfucking house" and "My Nigga (thats right NIGGA) Em on the Boards!"

ALL THIS PROJECT IS, IS EMIMEM'S FANTASY TO LEGITIMISE HIS WRONGFUL POSITION WITHIN HIPHOP HISTORY BY STANDING ALONGSIDE PAC. It is a selfish effort and a disrespectful tarnishing of a talented mans legacy.

If you are a fan of Tupac then BOYCOTT THIS ALBUM!!!!
If you MUST listen to it then DOWNLOAD IT www.ircspy.com should help you find the Mp3s.

DO NOT HELP LINE THE POCKETS OF MARSHALL MATHERS

This is my first Blog post, its late and im tired - I'm so furious about this issue its hard to bring my thoughts out in a rational manner.
I'll sleep on it and follow up tomorrow.

But for now check out www.freetupac.com for further details as to why this Tupac album is just plain WRONG and should be boycotted.
