Revenge of the Sith was received well last night, all of my friends enjoyed it and some even agreed with my bold statement that it was BETTER than 'The Empire Strikes Back'.
For me, it was a joy to see it projected digitally in razor-sharp clarity. I was, however, left a little under whelmed with the Odeon Leicester Square's sound system. All in all, I enjoyed the film just as much as the first time, which is always a good sign! Lucas did well.
Today is actually my birthday (25th) and while getting off the Victoria train for work I shopped around for some sweeties/goodies to bring it for the gang. I passed Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, and after basically living on these treats during my stay in Vegas, asked the price of a dozen. I was shocked to discover that they had the audacity to charge £8.95 for a dozen measly doughnuts that weren't even filled! In America these things were going for $3.99 a dozen, which equates to £2.11 - Rip off Britain indeed!!
Birthday plans tonight? - Pretty low key. Will spend it with my family who are taking me to see 'Sith' again! (sigh!), should be good as my other half Musole and my brother Jamie have yet to see it. After that I'll just go home and order Chinese food.
The Birthday-Booze-Up with the 'Lads' is yet to come! - Scheduled for Saturday night!!
