Got a phone call from my Brother this afternoon - he's not in the best of moods. Seems like Couriers TNT want £69 from him to cover the import tax of the PSP he bought from playasia.com (based in Japan, and they want it within 7 days!

I find it cheeky that they waited several weeks AFTER he received the item rather than requesting the money upon delivery.

To be stung by a £69 tax fee on top of the initial import price of the PSP is a lot of money - if anyone knows how this can be evaded at all (in ANY way) then leave your tips here or on my Shoutbox.
